Dr. David Horn

Dr. David Horn has been a dedicated veterinarian since 1993 and the proud owner of his veterinary hospital since November 1996. With a passion for animal care that began in his preteen years, Dr. Horn has always known that veterinary medicine was his calling. Growing up in Philadelphia, he developed a strong connection to animals, which led him to pursue a degree in Animal Bioscience at Penn State, graduating in 1984. He further honed his skills at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his veterinary degree.

 

Dr. Horn’s professional interests focus on the wellness and treatment of dogs, cats, and small mammals. He is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association (NJVMA), staying at the forefront of advancements in veterinary care.

 

One of the most rewarding aspects of Dr. Horn’s career is the ability to detect health issues through exams and wellness testing before they become significant problems. His journey in animal care began at the Narberth Animal Hospital, where he started as a kennel worker and progressed to a technician and emergency tech, gaining invaluable experience along the way. His high school and college years were enriched with externships focused on equine and farm animals, further broadening his expertise.
